You can feel relieve and enjoy greater peace of mind, autonomy, intimacy, dignity, competence, and wisdom as you engage more deeply with others. Increasing your tolerance and compassion can lead to an authentic optimism and a well-founded confidence, based on your better understanding and interpretation of what-is.
As your emotional competency increases, you may experience a variety of positive transformations in your life, you may feel more confident and powerful, and less confused, frustrated, and powerless. Once we recognize an emotion we can choose how to react to it. Making good choices requires us to understand the information the emotion is sending us, know how to interpret that signal, consider the choices we have for action, and foresee the consequences of those choices. The many emotions we all feel provide us with many decisions we are responsible for.
